How to know ‘Web ADI’ Version in EBS?
You have two options to find the version of WebADI , if you do not want to get any help from DBA.
Option 1(a) Release 12
- You need to logon in EBS
- Once you get the Homepage, you need to paste the url in the same browser window.
http://hostname:portnumber/OA_HTML/BneAdminServlet - You replace the hostname, domain and port number
- Once you enter these details, An html/xml return page list out the ‘Web ADI’ versions.
- Look for the attribute named “Bne Release Label”.

Option 1 (b) Release 11i
Follow same steps as above
The url of step 2 will be
http://hostname.portnumber/oa_servlets/oracle.apps.bne.framework.BneAdminServlet

Option 2:
- Logon to EBS using ‘Web ADI’, create a Document.
- Once you completed the activity and when spreadsheet is launched go to Menu that is created on the Toolbar in Excel called Oracle (in between Data and Window).
- From the Oracle menu select “About”. A pop up window is displayed with the version of ‘Web ADI’
- If you are using 11i , then it should be something like 8.x.x.x
- if you are using R12 , then it should be something like 12.x.x.x
