As an EBS user, the concepts that we have learned over the years are all made obsolete. In their place many of the PeopleSoft concepts has taken over.

- Business Units replace Operating Units
- Date Effectivity replaces Date Track

Extensible Attribute Framework introduced allowing unlimited set of attributes with more powerful features than Descriptive Flexfields (DFF). All attributes can be inherited or discovered by business intelligence, business rules, business processes, transactional UI and transactional logic.
